Hi! I am Ann Haakonson and welcome to my website! I am a Senior at Simpson College in Indianola, IA majoring in Multimedia Journalism. I am 22 years old and I am interested in going into broadcast journalism, radio broadcasting, or the nonprofit sector.
I got interested in journalism while in college by taking several classes, after going into college undeclared.
I’m from the Minneapolis, MN area, which is where I lived my whole life before leaving to go to college in Iowa.
